Mike Harris

Coach Mike is the Owner/Director since 2004 of Force Wrestling Club. He is responsible for designing all club programs and providing growth on every level of the club so that our student athletes have the best training environment possible.
Coach Mike has over 25yrs of wrestling competition and coaching experience. He was a 2x NJ State place winner 3rd/5th, 2x Region Champ, and 2x freestyle state placer for Livingston, NJ. He is a Region 4 Hall of Fame inductee for NJ and wrestled D1 at Rider University where he started at both 133/141and being ranked as high as 10th in the country his junior year before stepping away from the sport due to injury his senior year. Mike continued training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and qualified for No-gi Worlds. He retired officially from competition at 35yrs old wrestling senior level tournaments and competitions against some of the best people in the nation and world.
He is the former Director for Women’s Wrestling USAW/NJ and Team NJ national coach where he volunteers his time to grow wrestling programs and coach our boys and girls Team NJ. Through wrestling, Coach Mike believes it is the greatest gift in life to be able to coach the youth, pass on knowledge to aspiring young students, and help children chase their dreams and aspiration within sport and life.
