"Total Force Wrestling Club is ran by Head Coaches Omar Feliciano and Mike Harris. Together they have created a unique system of wrestling combining the best of Folkstyle and International training methods for wrestlers of all ages, helping them grow and go on to become successful individuals in all walks of life."
Coach Mike was a 2x state NJ State place winner 5th/3rd, 2x Region Champ, 2x freestyle state placer from Livingston, NJ.
Coach Mike is a Region 4 Hall of Fame inductee for NJ and wrestled at Rider University. He started at both 133/141and being ranked as high as 10th in the country his junior year before stopping due to injury.
Mike continued training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and qualified for No-gi Worlds before turning a heavy focus on international wrestling. He still trains and competes every few years and travels in search of the best techniques and training methods for our students.
He is a Board Member for USA Wrestling New Jersey and is the current Director for Women’s Wrestling where he works to build girls programs throughout the state and grow wrestling on Youth, HS and Collegiate levels. He is a National Team NJ Coach who dedicates his time helping develop and train our states best wrestlers for national competition on the off-season.
Coach Omar was a National Prep runner-up as a senior in 1997, an age-group AAU National Champion and saw first hand how wrestling during the middle school years provided him with a foundation of skills that helped to make his transition to high school significantly more manageable. He now finds himself in a position to help others build a similar foundation prior to taking on all the challenges of a demanding college preparatory educational experience.
Omar was also a two-sport standout at St. Benedict’s, having competed for the legendary soccer coach Rick Jacobs, while wrestling under the tutelage of Mark Gerbino, Mike DiPiano, Sr. and the late great, Roman Ruderman.
He has helped to produce a bevy of age-group state and national champions through other wrestling clubs.
Omar is currently the Head Coach at St. Benedict's Prep, a NJ Schoolboy Team Coach, Head of Usaw-NJ Cultural Exchange, and is the director for the Road 2 Redemption International Camp.
Utilizing his trips across seas, Coach Omar actively seeks out the best training methodologies across the world for our students and uses his unique world experiences to foster the precise development for our wrestlers on all levels.
